Homeless Boy Steals The Show!
Homeless Boy Steals The Show!
Nowadays, in every direction or niche you take a look at, there’s always an amazing and touching story to learn from. You can see someone who literally came from rags-to-riches almost everywhere. You can see them in the music industry, film industry, sports, home business owners, entrepreneurs and many others. Within this post is another one of those beautiful and amazing moments. Just read on and you’ll get seriously motivated when you’re done here.
Anyways, I’m pretty sure everyone here is familiar with the famous hit tv show, Britain’s Got Talent. You know, the show wherein Susan Boyle became a mega-rock star pretty much overnight. It was an amazing sight to see and it literally unfolded in front of millions of eyes. Susan’s life without a doubt, has turned a full 360 degrees for the better.
I brought up the tv show because it happened. Not in the same show, but pretty much the same thing. This time, it’s in Korea and it’s called “Korea’s Got Talent”. The star this time is a 22 year old boy, Sung-bong Choi.
Homeless Boy Steals The Show!
He was homeless most of his life and this is the moment wherein he can showcase his skills that can turn his life around and completely change… forever. This performance was really similar to Susan Boyle’s performance simply because no one expected them to be able to project and handle greatness. Sung-bong Choi is a perfect example of someone who stops at nothing. He’s homeless, so what? He’s passionate about something, he knows he’s good and he knows he can make a difference in his life. That’s why it’s very important we pursue our passions because our passions are our strongest assets in life. We can do good with any other thing in life, but when it comes to our passions, we grow, we get better and strive to become the best simply because we love it, we enjoy it and most importantly, it completes us.
I don’t normally watch talent shows. In fact, I don’t watch that much tv at all. However, this performance really sucked in my attention. I’ll be honest here. This video drew me to tears. Once you hear the guy’s story, it’s just impossible to not drop even a single tear.
He lived the hard life. Like hard of the hard of the hard. We think we have problems but our problems are nothing compared to this boy’s problems. In fact, after hearing his story, I felt happy and contented with the problems in my life. I started to focus on what I had which I should be thankful for instead of what’s wrong or what I don’t have.
I learned something really strong here. It’s really instilled within my mind now:
Don’t ever pre-judge someone and their passions. If someone is passionate, they will always go far and succeed living their passions.
Don’t you agree? We have famous musicians, artists, athletes, entrepreneurs and many others succeeding everyday and getting even better at what they do because they have the power of passion. Use it and change your life forever.
Check out the video below and see “Homeless Boy Steals The Show!”.
An ordinary looking boy with an extraordinary story. He stood up, he fought and he conquered. What are your thoughts after seeing something like this?

Wow, what a voice. Sent goose bumps all over me. Do you know what happened to him since that show? Thanks for sharing.
I’m glad you love it Merle. Amazing story! From what I read, he finished 2nd place in that competition and the judges got in touch with a children’s foundation and was able to get a home of his own. The judges are also helping him get through school. He’s on wikipedia. Amazing story!!!
