Nick Vujicic’s Story: No Limbs… No Limits
Nick Vujicic’s Story

That man in the picture is a very special guy. His name is Nick Vujicic and I’ll be sharing his story. Nick Vujicic’s story is not the typical rags-to-riches story you typically hear. I got that picture from Nick’s fan page. Make sure you give him a LIKE. He’s an amazing guy. You can do so here.
Nick Vujicic’s story is very inspirational and motivational to many.
Whenever I watch a video about him, read a blog post or read a status update from him, I get teary and start thinking how hard it may have been for him. What really get’s me going is the fact that he has no arms and legs, yet he still lives life to the fullest. Something that many of us don’t do.
Nick’s Vujicic’s story starts when he was born with a rare disorder called “Tetra-amelia syndrome”. I’m no doctor but I did my research. To make things short, it means that he was born without all 4 limbs. As a child, he struggled mentally, physically and emotionally. Why? Look at him. Imagine him looking at kids playing on the playground, basketball, soccer, swimming, etc. How do you think he felt? Devastated of course.
At age 10, Nick tried to commit suicide. He didn’t push through. Why? He loves his parents too much and can’t bear to imagine the pain they’ll go through knowing that their child died. Nick has a soft heart. Very loving, caring, and humble and he just couldn’t do something terrible because he feels bad.
Nick Vujicic’s story starts picking up and gets better when he was exposed to someone with a severe disability. Instead of trying to kill himself, that man went around the world and inspired people. He then realized how he can do the same. He wasn’t alone. He then decided to embrace his disability. He then decided to lock on the idea of changing lives.
It’s sad that we see many people in this world sad, devastated, contemplating suicide, turning to alcohol, drugs, becoming a wreck and many more. We sometimes tend to forget that we are lucky to have what we have. Whether it’s the people around us, our body, our material things, our beating heart, a home, clothes, food and many more. Others aren’t so fortunate. Nick doesn’t have arms and legs, but it didn’t stop him from loving life. He chose life instead of death. It goes to show that each and every one of us no matter who, have our own special purpose on this Earth. Don’t be sad because things don’t go your way. Others have no choice. They can’t change the circumstance. Accept it and deal with it instead of constantly complaining. Sometimes most of us are too spoiled and too used to having the things we have that we can’t survive a day not getting what we want.
Learn to be contented and thankful. Nick Vujicic’s story really served as a huge eye-opener for me. I felt like my heart opened up to me. He’s definitely a person that’s really inspired me and millions and millions of other people out there.
Don’t let simple things stop you. Be unstoppable just like Nick Vujicic is. If you have a problem, face it, deal with it and conquer it. Don’t turn to alcohol and drugs just because of a problem. Others got it way worse than you do. Pissed because you can’t pay the bills? Others can’t afford a home! Can’t buy this shirt or dress you like? Others don’t have any! Be happy and be contented. Don’t quit easily and you’ll see what’s in store for you.
Let’s let Nick Vujicic’s story be an example to all of us on how amazing life can be. Sometimes, for us to see how beautiful and amazing life is, we have to see someone living without the things we have and still put out the biggest smile on earth.
I’d like to share this short music video that pretty much depicts Nick Vujicic’s story:
That video which told a short story about Nick Vujicic’s story literally made me cry. It opened my eyes and made me see things in a clearer perspective. Do you feel the same way? I’m sure you do. Even if people around you are sad, all it takes is 1 person to do 1 thing to change that and that’s what Nick does.
If you’re depressed, devastated or whatever negative emotion you’re experiencing, snap out of it! You’re missing out on life! Stop! Look up and around you! It’s beautiful isn’t it?

Here’s another video I’d like to share about Nick Vujicic’s story:
Those 2 videos literally brought me to tears. lol Real men aren’t afraid to cry right? lol Nick Vujicic’s story really touched and moved me. I hope you felt the same.
I hope you have a lighter heart after reading this post ready to embrace and love life as much as Nick Vujicic does.
How has Nick Vujicic’s story made you feel? I’d love to hear your thoughts. Leave a comment and let the world know how Nick Vujicic’s story changed your life.

It took a moment of awesomeness to write this reply. I must first thank you for the inspiration it has brought to me. Watching the video did bring me to tears. Not sorrowful tears but tears of how great the human spirit is.
Then I went through a process of looking into myself and thought of all the things in my entire life that I was depressed about. My goodness, what a waste of time!
This post enlightened me to try try again. I’m sure it will reach people and help them through their own little struggles.
Thanks for putting this together, I will syndicate this out because people need to hear this message.

Well you are certainly stirring up the emotion here Pete. Today I felt my life in tatters as my Mum is in her last days of life and contemplating life without her is very very hard. Then I hear this and I have decided to be grateful that my Mum is in no pain and will be taken from us before the pain gets there. The only pain is with the people left behind – my Dad is 87 and has known Mum for 77 years and been married to her for 55.
Our lives are richer for knowing her and I aspire to be like her and others like her.
Thank you for sharing

Hey Nicky,
Nick is such an inspiration and I felt that I just had to share him and his words. I’m very sorry to hear that Nicky. It’s definitely a hard moment but there’s always a bright side. Your mother feeling no pain is one and another is that you and your family are there for her. No matter what, shes smiling inside because all of you are there for her.
I’m glad to hear that you’re keeping your head up Nicky.
Don’t be sad that it’s about to end, instead, be happy that it happened.
Wish you and your family the best Nicky!
Take care and you’re welcome.

I’ve read about Nick’s story Pete and you are so right. Just think you’re having a bad day and then think again. How would you feel if you had no arms or legs. Life isn’t really that bad now is it.
My Dad use to tell me I could be laying up in a hospital bed dying of cancer so get over whatever problem I think I’m having at the moment and just be grateful you are healthy and alive. Trust me, it worked every single time. I now live my life with pure gratitude.
I can’t even imagine what Nick had to go through but obviously he’s a much better person for having done so. We are much better people for having been introduced to him too.
Thanks for sharing his story with us. I can’t imagine there is still someone online who hasn’t heard of Nick by now.
Have a great week Pete!

P.S. By the way, that first video isn’t a music one. Oops…

Hey Adrienne,
You got it! Sometimes we tend to let the day rule us instead of using our heads. lol
Your father sounds exactly like mine. I live in the Philippines and there are a lot of less fortunate people here. You drive around you see people sleeping in boxes, taking a bath at the side of the road, eating rice and salt only and many other stuff. My dad always said we’re lucky we’re not in those type of circumstances. Same here, I live life with gratitude, passion and content.
I can’t imagine it too. I mean as easy as 10 years old, Sean’s age, he tried to end his life. How sad. I’m glad he didn’t have the heart to do it though. I’m happy I got introduced to him. My next mission is to get his book. lol
You’re welcome Adrienne!
There are still a couple of people who haven’t. So let’s spread word about him.
Have a great weekend Adrienne!

This was an extremely inspirational post, fellas!
I’ve seen Nick on several videos in the past, and he’s definitely an inspiration. He has such an upbeat personality that shows his inner strength to beat the odds against him. He’s done more with the hand he’s been dealt, in a day; than most people with the use of all of their limbs do in a life. His approach to life and living to his fullest potential shows me that anything in this life is possible, if fueled with dedication, perseverance, and passion. When we find a reason to accomplish our goals, and one of those reasons happens to be serving others; to help them get to their goal, things begin to happen for us and around us. I think this is something that Nick has a clear understanding about.
Great post Pj! This was very uplifting and empowering to read. Thanks for sharing it buddy!

Hey Deeone,
Thanks! I’m glad you like the post. Yes, such a powerful man. There are no limits to what he can do. Totally agree with you on that one Deeone. Nick serves as a huge eye-opener to many, especially us who have what he doesn’t. Instead of complaining and spiraling into depression for what we don’t have, let’s embrace what we do have and work hard to live and enjoy life to the fullest.
Thanks buddy! You’re welcome!
Have a great weekend!

Wow. So amazingly inspirational. It shows that there are no limits when it comes to will power.
That’s right, Michelle. The limits we have are the ones we set for ourselves. Thanks for your comment.
Nick is one amazing human being and inspiration… So many of us find ways to complain about this or that, minor petty things when compared to what Nick has had to deal with… Most people wouldn’t last one day facing the hardships Nick has faced all of his life. I was saddened by the part of his story where he tried to commit suicide at age ten. I have a ten year old child and could not imagine those thoughts going through his head… Thank you for this wonderful share

Hey Amy,
Yes, he is. He’s such an inspiration. Hearing that part where he tried to end his life at 10 made me cry. My brother, Sean is that age too. It’s amazing how he went through all the pain and yet ended up with an amazing life. Latest update from him is he’s happily married.
You’re welcome Amy.
