My Blogging Journey started 4 months ago…July 12, 2011 to be exact. It was a day that changed my life. It was my first time blogging and committing myself to creating new and fresh content on a consistent basis. I had no idea how to work a WordPress blog, but I did everything I could to create and configure this blog that you’re on right now. That’s how our blog, PeteZafra.com, was born. It turned out that blogging is something that I am deeply passionate about. I love writing, reading comments, and spreading the word.

During the first week of having our blog up, it pulled in some amazing results. We’ve generated income, made a lot of great friends, and met some fellow bloggers. On my 4th month of blogging, I feel like I have accomplished a lot of things that I am proud of. Our worldwide Alexa ranking went from 4 million to 300,000+, we’ve generated a good amount of leads, and got a good amount of sales as well.

Right now, I’m doing everything I can to spread the good word, reach out to other fellow bloggers, and develop a good relationship with them. Because of this, I was nominated to do the “7-Link Challenge On Blogging” by my good friend, Jimmy Tong.

I was thankful for being nominated to be a part of the 7-Link Challenge. It took me a while to get started since my father and I had a lot going on; but, I’ve made it a priority now to go and make this happen. Thanks for the opportunity for me to take part in this challenge, Jimmy. icon smile The 7 Link Challenge On Blogging

My 7 Posts of Most Significance in My Blogging

I am excited to share my 7 most significant posts for these past few months. In case you’ve missed them before, this is a perfect opportunity to check them out. Make sure to leave a comment. I always love reading them.

Most Beautiful Post

The most beautiful post I’ve written, in my opinion, is the “Time To Wake Up And Move Forward” post. When I wrote this, I was in need of motivation and a different point-of-view on things. I saw a video on Facebook shared by one of my friends, and instantly I had an amazing idea for a post. It was something I HAD to share with everyone. Every time I watch the video, it always pumps me up to wake up from whatever negative situation I’m currently in and move forward. We can’t waste our time worrying and being stuck in a certain situation for a long period of time. We need to wake up and move forward. So here’s my most beautiful post. Make sure you watch the video and leave a comment. icon smile The 7 Link Challenge On Blogging

Most Popular Post

My most popular post was about blogging. It’s called Blogging 101: Is Your Blog A Wild Market Place Or A Book Full Of Value? It got a total of 28 comments. So far, it’s the most comments I’ve ever gotten for a single post. I made it simply because of what I’ve been through. I’ve seen different blogs from all over the world and almost all were stuffed with ads to the point where you won’t have the chance to read the post anymore. They were too cluttered and full of distractions. I made this post to make others see the 2 types of blogs and balance both of them out.

Most Controversial Post

I don’t really have a controversial post, but I think my post on adding a pop-up to increase our lead generation is pretty controversial since not everyone agrees to have a pop-up. Here’s the post: Double Conversions On Your Blog By Adding A Popup. Not much controversy there like I’ve mentioned, but I got a lot of people saying how annoying these pop-ups are. LOL!

Most Helpful Post

My most helpful post is my training on How To Add A Facebook Comment Stream To Your Blog. This training has helped out a lot of fellow bloggers and friends alike. I’ve shared this to a lot of people already and I got nothing but a lot of amazing thank you’s. It felt good making this post because this is something that I immersed myself into, and I did everything I could to make the Facebook Comment Stream work and function properly. I did figure it out and pretty much mastered it. That’s why I had to make a training on it. This post is a must-read for bloggers so they can develop a strong Facebook presence. Make sure you check it out.

Post Whose Success Surprised You

The post which almost made me fly off my pants was the first post I did about my 10-year-old brother, Sean. Here it is: 10-Year-Old Boy Wonder Gets Started With His “Slight Edge” Journey. After posting this, within minutes it spread unbelievably fast and got tons of amazing comments and feedback. This post was also featured on Better Networker and e-mailed to all of the members. Better Networker currently has around 90,000+ members. In 1 week, this post alone got around 1,800 views, 116 FB likes and shares, and 9 tweets. Pretty amazing, to say the least. Like I said, I almost jumped out of my pants when I saw this. Make sure you check out this post too. Since that time, Sean has been contributing a post every Sunday. You may even know him already. This is his very first post. This is where it all started. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this, so make sure you leave a comment.

Post You Feel Didn’t Get The Attention It Deserved

I’m happy with every single post on our blog, but I think The Power Of Change is one of my most favorite posts. It is one of the first posts I’ve ever made. It brings back a lot of memories reading this. I suppose it didn’t get that much attention because when I posted this, our blog was only 2 days old. Here’s a chance for it to get the attention it deserves. Make sure you check it out and leave a comment.

Post That You Are Most Proud Of

The post that I am most proud of are the posts that my brother, Sean, and I make together. They’re a series of posts published every Sunday. The posts share weekly thoughts coming from Sean. They aim to inspire other children like Sean’s age or even adults like us. It has been a big hit and because of these series of posts, we’ve seen such a huge improvement with Sean. Take your time to check out these posts. There are a few, so please take your time to browse through them and make sure to leave some comments.
