The Friendship Test: The True Meaning Of Friendship
The Friendship Test: The True Meaning Of Friendship
Do you know the true meaning of friendship and how important of a role it plays in our lives?
It is said that no man is an island. We always have someone in our lives. Just look back through all the joy and the struggle. Odds are, you’ve most likely had someone special by your side.
We all go through different things in life, both good and bad. Having a friend through each of the different situations in life is always a special and unforgettable experience. Imagine having the chance to open up to someone, ask for advice, moral support, encouragement, motivation and getting the feeling that there’s someone right beside you who cares.

Growing up having friends by your side is a lifelong unforgettable experience. I remember waking up early in the morning and look outside my window. I then see my friends calling me to join them and play outside. Just as kids are, we had an unlimited amount of energy. We had fun and shared laughs. We also fell and cried a lot. The biggest breakthrough though, we had each other and we never abandoned one another.
That alone is a perfect example. Having someone by your side throughout the bad times and the good is always the best feeling to have. You don’t feel lonely. You don’t feel unwanted. You feel cared and loved.
Something flashed right in front of my eyes…
“I would rather walk with a friend in the dark, than alone in the light.”
― Helen Keller
With what Helen Keller just said, an important detail of life just flashed right in front of my eyes…
No matter how rich or famous you are, you’ll always be lonely if you don’t have someone who you can call a “TRUE FRIEND”. A friend is something money and fame can’t buy. If you think that money and fame can buy you all the amazing friends, then let me ask you one simple question.
If you take away the money, fame and power, will these friends still be around for you?
Here’s a perfect example for the situation. Look at the life of Richie Rich. He was the son of a billionaire. So you can easily imagine that type of lifestyle. He’s got the crib… he’s got the rides… he’s got everything. However when the time comes and he looks out the window, he never had someone whom he can actually call a friend. So he went out of his way even disguising himself as a normal kid just to blend in and make real friends.
“When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You know that your name is safe in their mouth.”
― Jess C. Scott, The Intern
A friend is someone who can transform a frown into a smile. Make you cry because of too much laughter. Give you six pac abs because of a consistent laughing exercise. Make you feel cared, loved and on top of the world. It’s easy to see why friendship is important and how it can make life so much sweeter.
Something Special…
I have something special I’d like to share with you today. It’s a video that pretty much conquered the test of time and friendship. It’s simply amazing! I know for a fact that this will make your day because it did mine.
Below is a quick video of 2 gentlemen that have been friends for over 86 years. They grew up together, had a blast together and now, they grow old together still sharing the same laughs that they used to.
Check it out below!
