” The recruitment needs of companies are significant “, insists Vincent Laudat, president of the CCI Rouen Métropole. Difficulties felt by companies in many sectors of activity such as hotels and restaurants, industry, services or even construction, and this, everywhere in France. It is not easy for companies to find their rare pearls, motivated and qualified candidates.
To make recruitment easier for both parties, the consular chambers, present in the territories of Seine-Maritime, Eure and Orne, are launching CCI Impuls’Emploi, a new recruitment platform, with two ingredients main ones: proximity and technology.
” It is a territorial platform with job offers (all types of contracts are offered, editor’s note) local », present the presidents of the CCI Rouen Métropole, Vincent Laudat and CCI Portes de Normandie, Jean-Michel Costatèque. Thus, the geographical constraint is lifted for candidates who are looking for offers close to home.
A platform “ simple, intuitive and efficient » thanks to two technologies: the “parsing” which allows to create the profile of the candidates from their CV, transmitted on the platform, and the “matching” which allows to sort and give the best matches between candidates and employers . In concrete terms, once the candidate has sent their CV to the platform, it will automatically create their profile and offer them job offers corresponding to their skills.
“Working on the employer brand”
Among the partners of this platform, the CCIs include the Army but also the engineering company Assystem for which the platform will help in recruitment ” people with or without experience says Hugues Hélie, head of activities in Normandy at Assystem. The company, present in Normandy, particularly in Cherbourg and Dieppe, estimates its recruitment projects at 200 per year, mainly in Seine-Maritime. For partner companies, such as Assystem, the challenge is to see their projects come to fruition with talent from the region. ” Currently we have 60 open positions in Normandy “says Hugues Hélie.
For recruiters, the platform is accessible in the form of a subscription with variable costs depending on the services requested. ” For them, it’s a way to gain visibility, but also to work on their employer brand. », agree Sophie Messelier and Brigitte Chedeville, who have been leading the project since July. One month after its creation, the platform has 425 candidate CVs submitted and more than 20,000 offers.
