Could a new railway technology transform the ArcExpress project?

The Montreux Oberland Bernois railway company has developed a variable gauge bogie, that is to say a system which allows the wheels of the wagons to adapt to the different gaps between the rails, one meter for the MOB and 1 m 345 for SBB. This new system allows MOB trains to directly connect Montreux to Interlaken without transhipment.
