No need to wait for the Google conference on October 6 to know everything about Pixel 7. A new leak reveals the official technical sheet of future smartphones made in Google.
Google must be wondering what its October 6 conference will look like. The Mountain View company has formalized a Made in Google event to formalize its Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, as well as its Pixel Watch. The search giant’s problem is that it has very hard to keep all his secrets, in addition to opting for a curious transparent communication. The brand’s future smartphones have indeed been official since the spring and Google lives to the rhythm of teasers… and leaks. The latter, very numerous, removed the little surprise that he could remain for October 6th.
Just days away from the announcement, it’s a complete technical sheet of the two devices which has leaked. Appeared on a Telegram group that follows Google news, the images reveal the ultimate details concerning the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. For the record, it is a Taiwanese operator who would have made the mistake of being a little too talkative. It was enough for the web to take hold of the subject and offer us a new glimpse of future Google phones.
What do these data sheets tell us?
As expected for several weeks, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will ship screens of respectively 6.3 and 6.7 inches. The Pro variant will benefit from a display in QHD at 120 Hz ; while the classic model is limited to Full HD+ at 90Hz. Under the hood, it’s a Tensor G2 chip which will equip its two IP68-certified telephones. The model will still be best provided with its 12 GB of RAM, against 8 GB of RAM for the Pixel 7. Both models will have 128 or 256 GB of storageand will be compatible with wired charging and wireless charging.
One of the surprises comes from the support for facial recognition by both models. This feature, which is not available on the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, will rely on the new 10.8 megapixel front sensor (Samsung 3J1). On the back, the Pixel 7’s photo block more or less resembles that of its predecessor; we find a 50 megapixel main sensorsupported by a 12 megapixel ultra wide-angle.
A 5x telephoto lens for the Pixel 7 Pro
The Pixel 7 Pro takes this configuration and adds a 48 megapixel telephoto lens. The technical sheet tells us that this premium model would integrate a 5x optical zoom, compared to just 4x on the Pixel 6 Pro. A small advantage for the latest addition to the brand, which should also benefit from Google’s know-how. The Californian firm has taught us not only to rely on hardware, but also and above all on software processing.
The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro would also be entitled to new features with the arrival of a ” Motion Blur » ; which could be the counterpart of the Cinematic mode of the iPhone. A way ” Macro Focus would, as its name suggests, offer a “macro” function and it will be reserved for the Pixel 7 Pro. This exclusivity suggests that the mode takes advantage of the presence of the telephoto lens.
On paper, Google appears to be opting for a smooth evolution of its Pixel lineup. However, there are expectations regarding the performance of the new Tensor G2 chip and in terms of photography. The Mountain View company has become accustomed to shining in this segment.

Google shows the design again
Before the official announcement, Google continues to create expectation around its new range. After showing off the design of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro at the I/O conference, she decided to highlight each of the models by posting two new videos :
The video dedicated to the Google Pixel 7:
The video of the future Google Pixel 7 Pro:
We can take a closer look at the design of future devices. The method chosen by Google allows it to keep a semblance of “control” over the various leaks.
And the prices?
In the United States, a leak recently announced that the Pixel 7 will be released at $599. The Pixel 7 Pro would be displayed at $899, or prices similar to those of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. In Europe, a leak on Amazon Spain mentioned a price of 649 euros for the Pixel 7. There is a good chance that this rate will be the one that will be practiced in France.
Regarding the Pixel 7 Pro, nothing has filtered and we can expect a sale price that fluctuates around 899 euros. Unless Google only offers a 256 GB version in France, which could increase the bill.
