Google will definitely not have much more to announce during the presentation of the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro. The US prices of future Google smartphones have leaked and are in store for a good surprise. In Europe, the situation might be a little different.
Google will present the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro in a few days at a conference. It will be held on October 6, but the future Pixels already have many secrets. Between leaks and transparent communication from Google, we can already draw a rather precise portrait of smartphones. However, there was still one major unknown: the price of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro sales.
The founder of the Android Police and APKMirror site, Artem Russakovskii, says he has obtained information on US prices. In the United States, a Target store listing indicates that the Pixel 7 will be displayed at 599 euros ; while the Pixel 7 Pro will be sold at $899. An important difference which testifies to the difference between the two models. The Pro version promises to offer a more complete “premium” experience than the “classic” model. Above all, we see that these prices are the same to those practiced last year for the launch of Pixel 6 and 6 Pro.

A good surprise then, while the smartphone market is hit hard by inflation. Google’s policy would be the same as that followed by Apple across the Atlantic. In its home country, the Cupertino company has not increased the prices of the iPhone 14 compared to the previous generation. On the other hand, the situation is markedly different in Europe.
In Europe, the fear of a tariff increase exists
This leak, if confirmed, is good news for American consumers. In Europe, it would be premature to claim victory and think that Google is not increasing its prices. Indeed, the Mountain View giant could follow Apple’s example which sells iPhone 14s around 15% more than their predecessors on the Old Continent. Google has obviously not announced anything and should not do so before its October 6 conference. Nevertheless, the Californian firm must also coping with rising commodity prices and the entire supply chain.
Remember that the October 6 conference will also be marked by the presentation of the Pixel Watch. Google’s first connected watch will accompany the new Pixel 7 and 7 Pro. Before the event, the brand formalized the arrival of a new Chromecast with Google (HD).
