Google finally unveils the first images of the front!

We are a few days away from the official release of the new smartphones from Google’s Pixel 7 range. If the American firm did not hesitate to share several images of the Pixel 7 on the various communication channels, with regard to the Pro model on the other hand, the company was more cautious.

She certainly revealed the back of the phone with its wide-angle sensors integrated into an elongated bubble and its third sensor in the form of a telephoto lens arranged in a punch. However, regarding the face it was total silence. But this reluctance has more or less ended since Google recently published a first image showing the front of the device. All that can be said is that it confirms the information that leaked in the press.

An official image posted by Google in a private group

It should be remembered that during Google I/O 2022 held in Shoreline in the United States, from May 11 to 12, 2022, the company based in Mountain View created a surprise by presenting its next Pixel 7. however, is kept from showing visuals of the front of the Pixel 7 Pro. This left room for all forms of speculation.

While we thought that Google officials would wait until the day of the device’s release to offer us the first images of the Pixel 7 Pro, they finally chose to publish an image of the front of the device on a Facebook page called “Pixel Superfans”. The latter being a private group, the image should not normally overflow into the public domain.

However, the group in question later used the image as the header for their public page. This is how it filtered through the press. One can legitimately wonder if this is not a ploy put in place by Google, which knew in advance that by publishing the image in a private group, it would necessarily end up on the public place.

Pixel 7 Pro, a less curved device than the Pixel 6 Pro

The image to which we were entitled is interesting, but did not really allow us to truly distinguish the device.

All that we can remember relates to the edges of the device that we can fortunately notice in the photo. It looks like the Pixel 7 Pro will be less curved than its predecessors. Information that corresponds to the indications previously given by 9to5Google. According to the specialized media, the curved sides of the Pixel 7 Pro have been toned down a bit.

An interesting change which means that Google has taken into account the comments made by users about the curved edges. These would not be suitable for certain types of screen protection and would tend to add reflections to the screen.

Regarding the top of the screen, the image shared by the Pixel Superfans group does not allow you to get a real idea of what it looks like. It is therefore possible that Google will share other images of the device before its release on October 6th. We will let you know as soon as we have new photos.
