Google One Free VPN is coming to Pixel 7 along with other new features

A few weeks after their arrival on the market, the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, Pixel Buds Pro and Google’s Pixel Watch are packed with new features. We start with the introduction of Google One VPN enabled at no extra cost on the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. For previous-generation Pixel owners, you’ll need a paid subscription to Google One to take advantage of this security tool, which allows you to hide your IP address to surf the web more anonymously.

The Pixel 7s is also eligible for an exclusive background noise reduction feature during phone calls that is supposed to improve clarity. The recorder application is now able to identify each speaker and insert a line break at each change. Handy for faster transcribing a meeting or interview. This feature is available on Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a and Pixel 7.

Another expected novelty, the spatial sound when using the Pixel Buds Pro headphones with a Pixel 6/6 Pro or Pixel/7 Pro.

It should also be noted that security and privacy settings, warnings and other useful information are all in one place. This unified hub is available from Pixel 4a and later.

At the same time, the Pixel Watch is enriched with several new functions, starting with the Fitbit sleep profile, which is established after tracking for 14 nights. It is accompanied by advice to improve the quality of your sleep. Google Watch also receives new wallpapers for the most popular applications. Fall detection, which Google announced when it launched the Pixel Watch in October, will arrive in 2023.
