On the occasion of the resumption of the French Handball Championship, HBC Nantes launched an original outdoor poster campaign by displaying Google reviews from supporters who have already experienced the H Arena.

For a week, the Liqui Moly Starligue club squatted around sixty JCDecaux panels spread over the island of Nantes, the district which hosts the Beaulieu sports hall (H Arena for the main hall).

In details, 3 real reviews left on the room were highlighted around the message “you can’t say we didn’t warn you”.

“In addition to retaining our occasional viewers, we also need to reach out to new audiences.

“This is an idea that has been in our heads for a while now” explain to us Kévin Morin, communications and events manager at HBC Nantes. “If we have a solid spectator base on match nights with more than 4,000 cumulative subscribers (Liqui Moly Starligue and EHF Champions League), we set ourselves the goal of being sold out every day, ie 5,902 spectators. To do this, in addition to retaining our occasional viewers, we also need to seek out new audiences. »

“From word of mouth in the spans of the H Arena to opinions or comments on our social networks, feedback has been very positive regarding the match night experience. Despite this, we have observed that there are still Nantes residents aware of this fan experience, who have never come to the H Arena. » adds Kevin Morin.

On Google, the Palais des Sports de Beaulieu displays nearly 900 reviews with an average of 4.7/5. “The objective of this campaign was multiple: to carry out a booster shot with this target, to reach new residents of Nantes, and finally to strengthen our notoriety” concludes Kevin Morin.
