Start-Up Nation Central (Tel-Aviv) sees innovative climate technology as a growing sector key to the Israeli tech ecosystemwhich is globally known for its ability to overcome difficult challenges and is well equipped to deliver solutions.

Faced with global warming, many political and economic leaders are betting on technological innovation as the main lever for reducing our greenhouse gas emissions.

ISRAEL. The Israeli government recently approved a three billion shekels (823.3 million euros) plan to stimulate innovation aimed at combating global warming.

This decision follows the drafting of a detailed report by an inter-ministerial team, led by the directors of the Ministries of Science and Technology, Environmental Protection and Energy, as well as the Director General of the Innovation Authority.
