Roger Federer promised his fans not to disappear after the end of his career
Roger Federer, considered by some to be the greatest player of all time, doesn’t know what tomorrow will bring. But one thing is certain, he has no intention of letting the world of tennis down.
“I just want to let the fans know that I won’t be a ghost, he said at a press conference. (He thinks) It’s funny, I just talked about Björn Borg before, I think it took him 25 years to come back to Wimbledon. In a way, it hurts all tennis fans, although it’s completely understandable, he had his life, his reasons, but I don’t think I’ll be that guy. Tennis has given me too many things, I’ve been in it for too long, I’ve fallen in love with too many things. I love seeing people again, that’s what I want to let the fans know, you’ll see me again. In what way, in what capacity, I don’t know, I still have to think about it.”
