MOSCOW, Sept 12 (Reuters) – A Moscow court accepted a bankruptcy petition from Google’s Russian subsidiary on Monday and began initial bankruptcy proceedings, placing the company under scrutiny, Russian news agencies reported.

Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL.O) The Russian unit filed for bankruptcy this summer after authorities seized its bank account, making it impossible to pay staff and suppliers. Free services, including search and YouTube, continued to work. read more
