The FTX ball unfolds little by little. The cryptocurrency platform, declared bankrupt a few days ago, has links with multiple players including large American venture capital funds. But what about French actors or those present in France? To find out, the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) sent an email on Monday to players registered under the status of digital asset service providers (PSAN), which is mandatory to offer certain services, including the purchase and sale of cryptocurrencies, in France.

The French regulator has sent a list of questions to the fifty or so players concerned to find out about their exposure to FTX and whether their clients are impacted, whether funds have been frozen, or whether compensation is planned. “I was very surprised that they reacted so quickly, it’s a very good thing”, greets the leader of one of the PSANs.
