The design of the Google Pixel Fold folding smartphone becomes clearer

We know that Google is currently working on its next smartphone, and it could be a folding model that adopts the principle of opening like a book in the style of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4, but with a seriously different design, if we are to believe . the returned images published on the web and as here are all the details.

A little less than a month ago, delicious Jon Prosser presented us with realistic images of what could be the design of the American brand’s first folding smartphone. It uses the principle of a vertical hinge for a horizontal opening, like for example Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold4, but also like the Oppo Find N, which will soon be joined by the second generation, the Oppo Find N2.

According to new information published by @OnLeaks, it also seems that the dimensions of the Google Pixel Fold (if that is its name) are not that different from Oppo’s Find N, as we can find some features of it. He would measure 158.7 x 139.7mm for a profile of just 5.3mm and 8.3 mm if we take into account the strip at the back which contains the photo sensors. This gives a slim style, like being glued to the back of the smartphone. You can see presence of three sensors, a flash and a speaker.

What technical configuration?

According to @OnLeaks, Google’s Pixel Fold will have one 7.69 inch internal screen when it is fully open. L’external monitor (or cover) could have one 5.79 inches diagonal, which is quite sufficient to use it as the most important to avoid having to open the mobile all the time and thus preserve the hinge. The external display would be perforated to accommodate a selfie photo sensor. Technically, the mobile would be powered by the Google Tensor G2 chip with 12GB of RAM, just like the Pixel 7 Pro. Several storage options will be provided and the device will benefit from version 13 of Android. It is rumored that it could be compatible with a stylus. It could be had in black or white and offered from 1799 dollars.
