While waiting for the Ballon d’Or ceremony on October 17 in Paris, which could crown him with the most prestigious of individual awards, Karim Benzema has begun his harvest of trophies. The Real Madrid striker, currently on his way to a competitive return, won three titles tonight at the annual gala hosted by brand.
The 34-year-old Frenchman was awarded the Alfredo Di Stéfano prize for the best player in La Liga for the 2021/2022 season, and the Pichichi trophy, rewarding the top scorer in the championship (27 goals). Benzema was also crowned best player by the supporters, who could vote.
