Vaccination: after those against the flu and the Covid, new vaccines can be injected in pharmacies from this Monday

The vaccination skills of pharmacies are expanding. No need to go to your doctor to have the serum injected. The pharmacies French could already administer the vaccines against the flu and Covid-19. But from this Monday, November 7, pharmacists are adding a new string to their bow.

Compulsory vaccines

From now on, all compulsory vaccines can be injected in pharmacies. There are 11 of them. In detail, these are those against poliomyelitis, whooping cough, human papillomaviruses, diphtheria, tetanus, meningococci of serogroups A, B, C, Y and W and those against rabies.

The only condition necessary for the administration of one or more of these vaccines: a medical prescription for minors under the age of 16 for whom vaccination is recommended, as well as adults for whom vaccination is also recommended.
